X1 Data Loggers Deliver Results in Season Opener
The new X1 data logger from Performance Data Systems helped a couple of teams reach the finals at the NHRA regional event in Phoenix, Arizona, which officially kicked off the 2025 NHRA season.

Across the two top categories of Alcohol Funny Car and Alcohol Dragster, a total of five teams were running the X1 data systems, with two of those teams reaching the final round.
Joey Severance, Chris Demke and Casey Grisel all had X1 systems on their Alcohol Dragsters while Maddi Gordon and Ray Martin were running X1 loggers on their Alcohol Funny Cars.
As eliminations drew to a close, Casey Grisel took on Jon Bradford in the Alcohol Dragster final, while Maddi Gordon faced off against Brian Hough in the Alcohol Funny Car final.
As the sun began to set in the Arizona desert, Bradford narrowly edged out Grisel with a slight starting line advantage and a 5.195, 278.46 mph pass to Casey's 5.254 at 276.97 mph.
Meanwhile, Maddi Gordon, driving a brand-new race car, posted a 5.473, 266.85 mph run to Hough's game 5.511, 267.64 mph effort.
Gordon's win was the second time the X1 system powered a team to victory, following JP Gutierrez' win in Alcohol dragster last season.
