PDS X1 data recorder is NHRA approved for use in nearly all categories of drag race vehicles. It is also recommended for many pulling applications using a traditional battery or CDI ignition, as well as all single-magneto applications.
Monitor critical vehicle inputs and system behavior throughout the run to identify issues before they become costly mistakes. Small changes become measurable improvements when you have the right information.
The X1 provides fast access to the information that matters so you can compare runs, evaluate changes, and confidently determine your next adjustment. Better analysis leads to better decisions—and better decisions win races.
The X1 was engineered to perform under real racing conditions where reliability matters most. When it's time to make another pass, your data logger should be the last thing you're worried about.
The X1 Data Logger works with many of the industry's leading engine management systems, making it easy to bring all of your critical engine data into one powerful analysis platform.
Compete with confidence. Approved for use in nearly all NHRA drag racing categories, the X1 is trusted by racers across every level of competition—from weekend bracket racers to professional teams chasing championships.
Everything you need to start making smarter decisions. Out of the box, the X1 monitors Engine RPM, Driveshaft RPM, Acceleration G, Lateral G, and Battery Voltage, giving you a solid foundation for performance analysis from your very first pass.
Capture the events that matter most. With five configurable digital inputs, the X1 supports multiple RPM channels and race events, allowing you to monitor critical systems and uncover performance hidden within every run.
See beyond RPM. Add the optional timing upgrade to monitor overall ignition timing or individual cylinder timing, giving tuners deeper insight into engine performance and combustion consistency.
Built to grow with your program. The X1 supports up to 72 XBus channels, allowing you to add sensors and modules as your racing operation evolves—without replacing your existing system.
Connect more. Learn more. Easily integrate compatible CAN-based ECUs and sensors with a simple cable, expanding your data acquisition capabilities without additional hardware or unnecessary complexity.
See performance as it happens. Display monitored functions live on the XD7 CAN-enabled display, giving drivers and crew members immediate access to the information that matters most.
Designed to fit your race vehicle—not the other way around. Choose from five harness configurations to simplify installation and deliver a clean, professional setup
Turn data into competitive advantage. Download, visualize, overlay, compare, and analyze every run using Caliper software, transforming thousands of data points into actionable tuning decisions.
Engineered for the environments where performance is earned. Designed to withstand heat, vibration, and the demanding conditions of motorsports, the X1 delivers the reliability racers depend on pass after pass and season after season.
