Performance Data Systems' very own X1 data recorder is NHRA approved for use in nearly all categories of drag race vehicles. It is also recommended for many pulling applications using a traditional battery or CDI ignition, as well as all single-magneto applications.

It is well suited for the following applications:

In its base configuration, the X1 monitors 5 parameters (Engine RPM, Driveshaft RPM, Accel G, Lateral G, Battery Volts)

With 5 available digital inputs, you can monitor a variety of RPM channels or events, such as:

  • Engine RPM
  • Driveshaft RPM
  • Converter or Clutch RPM
  • Flow Meter or Front Wheel Speed
  • Record Button or TDC RPM (Ignition Timing)

With the optional timing upgrade you can easily monitor your ignition timing.

You can also add up to 72 XBus channels to meet the needs of most users. Any monitored function can also be displayed in real time on a CAN-enabled display, or downloaded using the Caliper data analysis software.

Additionally, you can connect your CAN-based ECU or sensors to the X1 for expanded data acquisition capabilities with a simple cable. No additional hardware required.

NOTE: Systems DO NOT INCLUDE a driveshaft collar.
