Performance Data Systems' X2 Data Logger is designed for use in applications with high cylinder pressures, high amperage magnetos and solid core secondary ignition wires. It is an NHRA-approved logger for the Nitro Funny Car and Top Fuel Dragster categories. It can also be used for Injected-Nitro and Alcohol Funny Car and Dragster. Due to the hig number of channels it can record, it is also an excellent choice for Multi-engine pulling tractors.

The X2 is recommended for the following applications:

  • Nitro Funny Car and Top Fuel Dragster
  • Alcohol Funny Car and Alcohol Dragster
  • Unlimited Pullers 

The X2 features:

  • 15 Digital RPM/Event channels
  • 8 High-Speed (1000 Hz) channels
  • 2-axis G-Meter (Acceleration and Lateral G-force)
  • Battery Voltage
  • Ignition Timing and Mag Phase monitoring for two magnetos
  • XBus, PDS' proprietary CAN bus data stream
  • A second, user-configurable CAN bus
  • Optional internal battery

    You can monitor up to 72 channels using the X2's XBus connection, which should be sufficient to meet the needs of most users. Any monitored function can also be displayed in real time on a CAN-enabled display, or downloaded using the Caliper data analysis software.

    Additionally, you can connect your CAN-based ECU or sensors to the X2 for expanded data acquisition capabilities with a simple cable. No additional hardware required.
